A proud graduate of South Garland High School Class of ’83, he earned his Associate degree of Arts & Applied Sciences in 1988.

In 2012, Stephen returned to his hometown of Garland, where he later married his wife, Daphne Stanley.

STEPHEN’S EXPERIENCE

In 1997, Stephen was appointed to the Sachse Parks Board, and the following year, he successfully ran for and served two consecutive three-year terms on the Sachse City Council. During his time in Sachse, he also contributed to various community organizations, holding positions such as Director of the Sachse Chamber of Commerce and President of the Sachse Youth Center Board.

In 2013, he was elected to the Garland City Council and successfully secured re-election in 2015.
